Attached are our entries and the meet sheet for Saturday’s meet vs Newington Forest. Please print and bring a copy to the meet tomorrow if you are interested in following along. EVERYONE PLEASE LOOK AT THE ENTRY LIST – WE HAVE SWIMMERS IN THE MEET WHO MAY NOT EXPECT TO BE SWIMMING DUE TO ABSENCES THIS WEEK! Also, follow along on the SwimTopia app!

Friday, July 17

We’ll meet for the Piranha Parade to our seniors' homes at 6:30p at Stone Middle School parking lot (see GroupMe text for directions and travel plan/addresses once we are there).

6:30p - Piranha Parade to the houses of our three seniors: Mary, Hunter, and Alexa!

7:30p - Pool set up - we need all hands on deck to complete set-up quickly!

Saturday, July 18

7:30a – SS2 Warm-up starts

7:50 – NF warm-up starts

8:00a - Stroke and turn judges meeting with referee

8:10a - Timers meet with chief timer; warm-ups end

8:15a – Piranha Pass for our swimmers

8:20a - Swimmers for the first four events report to the clerk of course

8:25a - Welcome and introductions by the announcer

8:30a - Meet starts

Family Fun Night at SS2

6:00p – Pool closed to other patrons – Swim Team only

Dinner catered by Chik-Fil-A

We need helpers to set up tables at 5:30p

PLEASE NOTE: If Family Fun Night should be cancelled due to weather, it will NOT be rescheduled.

Sunday, July 19th

Divisionals selections: Reminder Divisionals starts with Back this year, then Breast, Fly, IM, and Free. The break is between Fly and IM (IM and Free constitute the "2nd half")

IMPORTANT: Starting TODAY, please send us an email ([email protected] and [email protected]) with your stroke preferences for Divisionals by SUNDAY at NOON. If you want to swim in Divisionals, you must email your preferences. Even if you think you may not qualify, please send us your choices. For example, 1- Back, 2 – Fly, 3 – Free, 4 – Breast, 5-IM. Also, let us know if there are strokes that you absolutely DO NOT want to swim.

Swimmers at the top of the stroke ladders – please respond early via email so others down the ladder know what their options are! Thanks!

12:00p – Divisionals Planning Meeting at SS2 – all area coordinators will meet to review plan for Divisionals. It’s a busy week!

Monday, July 20th

B Meet at Fairfax Club Estates – this is the make-up from our first B meet that was canceled due to weather. We will swim IM events first!

5:20p - SS2 Warm-ups

6:00p – Meet starts – Swim Fast!

Monday – Practice for all – 7:30a-8:30a. Then fun GAME DAY at the pool – 8:30a – 10:00a!

Tuesday through Friday - Practice: 8-9a for older kids and 9-10a for younger swimmers. All swimmers available for Divisionals should attend (if you are not available to swim in Divisionals, you do not have to attend. We will not know final firm entry list until late Weds night. Thursday and Friday practice will be for those swimmers in Divisionals only!
