Here is our schedule for the next few days for our Fun Friday and Saturday and Monday meets

Friday, July 3rd

7:30-8:15a - Older swimmer practice and younger kids tye-dye party!

8:15 – 9:00a – Younger swimmer practice and older kids tye-dye party!

9:00 – 9:30a – Parent practice! Yes, that’s YOU!

9:30-10:00a – SUPERTeam practice

10:00 – 10:30a – Learn2 Swim Lessons – last day of Session #1

Saturday, July 4

7:10a – Meet at Herndon Pool (we are not meeting at SS2 due to earlier start time to beat the heat and encourage family celebrations for the holiday!)

7:20a – SS2 Warm-ups

7:30a - Stroke and Turn Judges meeting with Referee

7:40a - Timers meet with Chief Timer

7:40a - SS2 Warm-ups end

7:50a - Swimmers for the first four events report to the clerk of course; Herndon has  Lollipop race

7:55a - Welcome and introductions by the announcer

8:00a - Meet starts

Parking: Herndon has a gravel lot (no lines :) ) and will have 2 parking marshals in orange vests available to help folks keep the parking tight to get as many of our team cars in the lot as possible! Please look for them :)

Team Area: Our team area is at the back of the property and is off the pool deck. There is also a large, covered, elevated deck in that area for parent spectators. Swimmers should set up on the basketball court section, or in the grassy area adjacent to the spectator deck. PLEASE BRING CAMP CHAIRS FOR THE SWIMMERS IN THE TEAM AREA. We also need a few canopies for the team area. Please reply in GroupMe if you can bring one for the swimmers.

Pool: For safety, Herndon starts all events in the deep end of the pool (the timers move for 25m races). This does mean that swimmers will do flip turns in the shallow end. One note is that obviously half of the relay swimmers will still dive in on the shallow side.

For Monday's B Meet at Sideburn Run- July 6:

Reminder that the declaration and entries for Monday’s B meet will open on Saturday evening and we need attendance declaration and entries by Sunday evening at 6p!

Monday, July 6
B Meet details: SS2 @ Sideburn Run

4:30p – Arrive at SS2

4:40p – Depart for Sideburn Run

5:20p – SS2 Warm-ups
5:30p – Officials and Timers report

5:50p – First four Freestyle events to the Clerk of Course
6:00p – Meet starts – Swim Fast! Have Fun!

Heads-up: we have the Division 15 Relay Carnival next Wednesday, July 8^th at Lake Braddock. Please let us know, and declare in SwimTopia, if your swimmers are not available for the Weds Relay Carnival next week by Friday at 6p. We will send another note over the weekend, but please have this event on your calendar. One swimmer missing may make the difference in being able to field a relay!

Lastly, please let us know your availability for next Saturday’s Home A Meet on July 11 vs Fox Mill Estates.
