Attached are our entries for Saturday’s meet. EVERYONE PLEASE LOOK AT THE ENTRY LIST – WE HAVE SWIMMERS IN THE MEET WHO MAY NOT EXPECT TO BE SWIMMING DUE TO ABSENCES THIS WEEK!

Please print a copy to have with you at the meet if you are interested. There are no meet sheets sold on Saturday.

Tonight – we will see you at our Pep Rally at 6:30p. Get ready to enjoy ice cream and decorate your cars to show your SS2 pride!  Watch for notices on SwimTopia alerts and GroupMe if weather impacts our plans!

And then, we will see you tomorrow morning for our second meet of the season at Lake Braddock!  This is where we will swim Relay Carnival in two weeks, so this week provides a chance to see the pool. Our theme for the meet tomorrow is “Color Wars”! Each age group will show out in their designated color! Remember our timers and deck officials should have their white over navy blue on! 😉).

8&U – Orange/yellow

9-10 – Red

11-12 Purple

13-14 – Blue

15-18 - Pink

Saturday, June 27

7:20a – Arrive at SS2

7:30a – Leave for Lake Braddock

8:25a - SS2 Warm-ups

8:30a - Stroke and Turn Judges meeting with Referee

8:30a - Timers meet with Chief Timer

8:45a – SS2 warm-up ends. Lake Braddock’s Senior Celebration

9:00a - Swimmers for the first four events report to the clerk of course

9:05a - Welcome and introductions by the announcer

9:10a - Meet starts

Address: 9528 Ashbourn Drive, Burke. The entrance to the pool is easy to miss as it looks like a little road going to nowhere. Please note, there are TWO pools in the neighborhood. If you can see the pool from the street, you are at the wrong pool.

Parking: There is a large parking lot and plenty of street parking.

Team Area: Our team area will be on the left side of the dive well (if you are looking at the well), and we will be on the right side. They will have deck chairs on our side for seating but feel free to bring your own to supplement. Since we are on the deck you shouldn't need bug spray but definitely sunscreen!

Concessions: The Laker Lounge will be open with both breakfast and lunch offerings. They accept cash, credit cards, Apple/Google pay.

Heads-up: we have the Division 15 Relay Carnival on Wednesday, July 8th back at Lake Braddock. Please let us know if your swimmers are not available for the Weds Relay Carnival asap by declaring in SwimTopia AND sending an email to [email protected] and [email protected]. We will send another note next week, but please have this event on your calendar. One swimmer missing may make the difference in being able to field a relay!

Reminder that the declaration and entries for Monday’s B meet at home vs. Commonwealth will open on Saturday evening and we need attendance declaration and entries by Sunday evening at 6p! Lastly, please let us know your availability for next Saturday’s A Meet on July 4 at Herndon.
