Entries and Information for Relay Carnival on Wednesday - IMPORTANT
SS2 Swim Team Families,
For families with swimmers in the Relay Carnival on Weds night (see attached entry list for entries that were submitted this evening - we know there have been a few changes. Unfortunatley, due to absences (:-(, we will not have 8&U Boys or Girls relays and no 9-10 Boys relays. Hopefully next year we can all plan August vacations!
To make logistics easier tomorrow, we will not meet at SS2 and all travel to Rutherford and assemble there in our Team Area. Also attached is a map of the Rutherford area, a pool map for your review, and the menu for the meet (I can vouch for the noodle bowls, they are homemade and excellent!).

Most parking will be on the street outside the swimmer drop-off area. Some Officials will park in the lot only with assigned parking passes. Swimmer drop-off will be at the intersection of Kristen Lane and Marley Road.
Spectators can bring chairs for the spectator area in the grass, but chairs are not permitted on deck. Chaise lounges and other seating will be set up on deck, but please do not try to bring chairs on deck.
We are in Team Area #4 in the grass area. We need two tents for the Team Area from parents who can bring a tent, set it up, and take down at the end of the meet. Please respond in GroupMe if you are able to bring a tent. It may be a little muddy, so two tarps would be great to have as well. Please reply in GroupMe if you can bring tents (2) or tarps (2).
Also, swimmers should bring chairs, bug spray, etc. for the Team Area.
This is a fast meet - typically around 90 mins or so!
SS2 warmups are 5:25p-5:45p. ALL SWIMMERS SHOULD ARRIVE BY 5:00P TO PARK, GET SETTLED IN THE TEAM AREA, AND BE READY FOR WARMUP!
The meet starts at 6:30p.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL SWIMMERS SWIMMING ON WEDNESDAY SHOULD PLAN TO GO TO RUTHERFORD REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER! WE WILL SWIM IN THE RAIN (NO THUNDER, LIGHTNING OF COURSE). IF A STORM PASSES THROUGH, WE WILL WAIT IN OUR CARS FOR CLEARANCE TO FINISH THE MEET. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL WE LET YOU KNOW THAT THE SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED. WE PLAN TO GET THE MEET IN ON WEDS SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO RETURN ON THURSDAY!
All Officials, Timers, Marshals need to be at Rutherford and checked in by 535p. Please note that our Marshal needs to be in place for SS2’s warm-up at 5:25p.
