Attached are our entries and the meet sheet for Saturday’s meet vs Fox Mill Estates. Please print and bring a copy to the meet tomorrow if you are interested in following along. EVERYONE PLEASE LOOK AT THE ENTRY LIST – WE HAVE SWIMMERS IN THE MEET WHO MAY NOT EXPECT TO BE SWIMMING DUE TO ABSENCES THIS WEEK!

Theme for tomorrow’s meet is SS2 colors (Red, White and Blue)! Wear your team shirts to show your Piranha Pride!

Friday, July 12

We need parent help tonight to set up for Saturday’s meet. Weather depending, we’ll meet for the Piranha Parade to our seniors' homes at 6p at Stone Middle School parking lot (see GroupMe text for directions and plan), and end up back at the pool for set up around 7:15-7:30p – thanks in advance.  If the rain affects our Piranha Caravan, we will let you know, but we will still need families to help set up the pool tonight.  Lots of hands makes for short work!  Thanks in advance.

Saturday, July 13

7:15a – Arrive at SS2

7:30a – SS2 Warm-up starts

7:50a – Fox Mill Estates warm-up starts

8:00a - Stroke and turn judges meeting with referee by the diving board

8:10a - Timers meet with chief timer; warm-ups end

8:15a – SS2 Senior Recognition – The Piranha Pass

8:25a - Swimmers for the first four events report to the clerk of course

8:25a - Welcome and introductions by the announcer

8:30a - Meet starts

Sunday, July 16th

Divisionals selections:  See email sent on Thursday night re: Divisionals for details. Reminder Divisionals starts with IM this year, then Free, Back, Breast, and Fly.

IMPORTANT: Please send us an email ([email protected]) with your stroke preferences for Divisionals by Saturday evening. If you want to swim in Divisionals, you must either email your preferences. Even if you think you may not qualify, please send us your choices. For example, 1- Back, 2 – Fly, 3 – Free, 4 – Breast, 5-IM.  Also, let us know if there are strokes that you absolutely DO NOT want to swim.  

Swimmers at the top of the stroke ladders – please respond early via email so others down the ladder know what their options are! Thanks!

Monday, July 17th

IM Carnival at Lakeview for swimmers signed up for this event – swimmer list has been emailed separately.

5:30p – Warm-ups (Lane 6 only)

6:00p – Meet starts – Swim Fast!

Preview for next week:

Monday - All swimmers have normal practice times.

Tuesday - Game day from 7:45a-9:00a for all swimmers

SUPERTeam meet (rescheduled) at 9:00a on Tuesday

Wednesday through Friday - practice for Divisionals swimmers only:  8-9a for older kids and 9-10a for younger swimmers

Group lessons at 10a all week

Saturday, July 20th – Division 15 Individual Championships at Burke Station –details to follow

Sunday, July 21st – Awards Night End of Season Celebration – watch for details
