Entries and Information for Relay Carnival on Wednesday - IMPORTANT

SS2 Swim Team Families,

For families with swimmers in the Relay Carnival on Weds night (see attached entry list for entries that were submitted this morning - we know there have been a few changes.  If you have been emailed or texted with a question about filling an open spot, please reply asap!

To make logistics easier tomorrow, we will not meet at SS2 and all travel to Lake Braddock and assemble there in our Team Area.

Address:  9528 Ashbourn Drive, Burke. VA (same pool where we swam in Week One).

Most parking will be on the street outside the parking lot.  Officials will park in the lot only with assigned parking passes.  Delaney has the passes to distribute at Weds practice to most officials working the meet.

We are in Team Area #5 on the grass in the parking lot.  We need to tents for the Team Area from parents who can bring a tent, set it up, and take down at the end of the meet.  Please respond in GroupMe if youa re able to bring a tent.

Also, swimmers can bring chairs, bug spray, etc. for the Team Area.

This is a fast meet - typically around 90 mins or so!

SS2 warmups are at 5:25p.  ALL SWIMMERS SHOULD ARRIVE BY 5:00P TO PARK, GET SETTLED IN TEH TEAM AREA, AND BE READY FOR WARMUP!

The meet starts at 6:30p.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  ALL SWIMMERS SWIMMING ON WEDNESDAY SHOULD PLAN TO GO TO LAKE BRADDOCK REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER!  WE WILL SWIM IN THE RAIN (NO THUNDER, LIGHTNING OF COURSE).  IF A STORM PASSES THROUGH, WE WILL WAIT IN OUR CARS FOR CLEARANCE TO FINISH THE MEET.  PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE UNTIL WE LET YOU KNOW THAT THE SCHEDULE HAS CHANGED.  WE PLAN TO GET THE MEET IN ON WEDS SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO RETURN ON THURSDAY!

All Officials, Timers, Marshals need to be at Lake Braddock and checked in by 545p.  SS2 volunteers tomorrow include Tom Kennedy, Patrick Campbell, John Stamper, Cindy Susko, Heather Stalfort, Kate Campbell, Matt Corey, Jae Corey, Sean Killelea, and Aaron Norris.  We are still looking for a Clerk of Course for tomorrow.  Any help?
